Practice

  • Tax

Andrew represents clients in tax matters relating to corporation, partnership and LLC formation and operation, taxable and tax-free mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and internal restructurings and reorganizations. He has extensive experience in both domestic and cross-border engagements involving corporate and partnership tax issues and has worked with a broad range of clients across many sectors, including Fortune 500 companies, private equity, venture capital and investment funds, family offices, local companies and individuals.  His expertise includes structuring and implementing stock option and other equity incentive plans and tax issues relevant to executive compensation, as well as debt restructurings and workout transactions.

Prior to joining Egan Nelson, Andrew practiced law at Thompson & Knight LLP and was a senior manager in the Dallas office of Ernst & Young LLP’s transaction advisory services group, and was a tax accountant prior to attending law school.
